All audio recordings are saved locally on your device storage (in MP3 format). We do not collect, upload, transmit, or store any of your recordings on external servers.
- User Preferences & Favorites: Your saved favorite radio stations, chosen application language, and settings are stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences.
- Usage & Diagnostic Data (Analytics): We utilize Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymized usage statistics, crash logs, and performance metrics to help us maintain stability and enhance user experience.
3. Third-Party Services & Advertising
The App integrates reputable third-party services provided by Google. These services may collect information used to identify your device in accordance with their privacy policies:
- Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers, advertising IDs, and anonymized interaction data to deliver non-personalized or personalized ads based on your consent.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP / GDPR Consent): For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, we implement Google's User Messaging Platform to provide transparent consent choices and allow users to manage their privacy and advertising preferences at any time through the App's settings.
- Google Firebase: Used for push notifications (Cloud Messaging), crash reporting, and general performance analytics.

4. Device Permissions
To provide its core functionality, the App requests the following Android permissions:
- INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to establish streaming connections to live Quran radio stations and fetch station listings.
- FOREGROUND_SERVICE & FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK: Required to maintain continuous, uninterrupted background audio playback and recording when your screen is turned off or when switching apps.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to show media playback notification controls (Play, Pause, Stop, Record) and sleep timer countdowns.
- WAKE_LOCK: Allows the audio player to prevent the CPU from sleeping while streaming audio in the background.
5. Data Security
We value your trust in using our App. All network requests and streaming metadata are communicated over secure encrypted protocols (HTTPS / TLS) to protect data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13 for personal data collection. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
